Manlio Milazzi is a blues harmonica player and singer based in Trieste, Italy. Rooted in Chicago and amplified blues, his playing treats the harmonica as a voice — raw and powerful, but equally capable of subtlety and space.
He has toured throughout Europe, performing in Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia and Croatia, and has appeared at festivals including Trieste Loves Jazz and Pordenone Blues Festival. He performs with his own band and with New York guitarist and singer JJ Appleton, with whom he recorded North of the Sea.
